Years had passed since Watt successfully positioned Vittorio Forti as a value retailer in the world of Mexican men’s apparel. Now they wanted a more fashion forward-brand – without alienating their price-conscious clientele.
Designed to get noticed, Watt’s store refresh incorporated a mix of modern and art deco fixtures to convey a sense of 1920’s Gatsby-style fashion and exclusivity. Glass and black metal elements throughout the store anchored the design. Additionally, by giving the onsite tailoring services greater visibility, the brand’s status as a bespoke retailer and style authority were further underscored.
All this was achieved while keeping affordability cues at the forefront, allowing the brand’s new fashion sensibility to come through without sacrificing its reputation for value.
